Booked a first table at Maraetai Beach Cafe for a early Friday evening dinner. Ordered a beef burger, nachos and cheese loaded wedges which was ordinary but all delicious. We were able to enjoy a peaceful walk along the Maraetai Beach prior to dinner and then witness a beautiful sunset while eating dinner. Music was a bit loud for myself as the seat up against the window is under a speaker but all was well. Staff were very friendly and hospitable.

The beach cafe is one of the restaurants across the road from Maraetai Beach. They are the ones that have Movenpick. The place looks quite nice and bright. It has a nice view of the beach. We grabbed a takeaway order to eat elsewhere. We grabbed the calamari, corn fritter with bacon, and the fish and chips. The portions weren't too bad. The corn fritters were more like pancakes with some corn in them though. The other two were nicely cooked. They all came with a side salad and sauce. It wasn't too bad for a takeaway meal.

Amazing. Food was delicious (buttermilk chicken burger) view by the window of the ocean and our pick to sit outside or inside. Can’t recommend the food enough. Will definitely be going back here. Thank you Harmony! The service was friendly I can’t recommend it enough!

I think Beach cafe has new owners. Wasn't sure about having breakfast here to start with but what a lovely surprise when we did! The staff are friendly and our order came super quick. We ordered eggs Benedict with salmon which was beautiful, a huge portion and the eggs were spot on! We were asked through our meal if everything was to our satisfaction. Now that is what I call superb service. The prices of meals are Also very affordable. Not more expensive than anywhere else. Absolutely no complaints all round. Will definitely be back and highly recommend

I just enjoyed a fantastic Pappardelle Alfredo with mushrooms, chicken and shaved parmesan. I didn't know what like for lunch, and I am really happy to say that my choice was awesome. The pasta was thin and delicious with all beautiful flavors in it. The coffee was delicious too. Well done team. Vegetarian options: Several item to choose from, including cabinet items. Kid-friendliness: Other diners had kids, that looked like they were enjoying their time here. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, definitely wheelchair acessable, as another table of diners had a member in a wheelchair and another was using a walking frame as well. Dietary restrictions: Everything suited my needs.

Had breakfast here on Wednesday and since we really liked it I thought I’d come here with friends for dinner in the weekend. We love finding new places to eat and getting here after a beautiful scenic drive from Botany was so worth it…my friends and I loved the food, the staff were warm and welcoming and the live music was an added bonus! Would love to come here again!

Great place with superb view. Love the atmosphere and service from Harmony and Kate. Must try. We had mushrooms pasta, BBQ pork and pulled lamb. We had food coma. Absolutely loved it and the catch is big portions and great deals. Definitely coming back with the family.
